Daniel completed his undergraduate MChem degree at the University of Sheffield during which he spent a year placement at Syngenta working on herbicide synthesis in the robotic synthesis team. Following this he spent the duration of his final year project working on synthetic methodology for a novel caspase inhibitor. He is currently a student as part of the iCASE programme and is working on the design and synthesis of small molecule probes in collaboration with Syngenta. Outside of the lab, Daniel is a keen squash player and is heavily involved with the Wolfson College Squash Club.
